Bill retired to western North Carolina from California in 1998. He profited from a multifaceted career that included Viet Nam service as an Air Force pilot, earning an MBA in Boston, portfolio management on Wall Street, retail lending and property management in Los Angeles and then fifteen years as a collision repair entrepreneur in Santa Barbara County. Bill has returned to real estate sales and property management because he enjoys problem solving and the intellectual stimulation that real estate activity provides. Bill and his wife Sheila and two Scottish Terriers have lived in Highlands Cove since 2004.
Bill has a wide range of interests which include woodworking, gardening, landscaping, art and architecture, technology, computers, digital photography and image editing, graphics, aviation, classic car restoration, writing, reading, genealogy, heraldry, entrepreneurship, birding, precious metals recovery, guitar, and humor.
