A Native of LaGrange, Georgia, Wally attended Georgia Tech on a Callaway scholarship, graduating with a B.S. in Textile Engineering. While at Tech, Wally was a member of Phi Delta Theta fraternity.
Upon graduation, Wally received a Commission as a Second Lieutenant in the U. S. Army Reserves. He served eight years in the Reserves.
Wally has an extensive textile manufacturing background, having held management positions with Callaway Mills, Milliken & Co., and Burlington Industries. He also has many years of sales experience as Owner of Keeble Textile Machinery Sales in LaGrange and Columbus, Georgia.
Wally moved to Highlands several years ago and was excited to earn his North Carolina Real Estate License. This new career has given him a great opportunity to make new friends from around the U. S. as well as locally.
