In 1935 Charles Veazey Rainwater climbed to the top of Little Yellow Mountain and saw a vision of what would become his family's legacy. Today a few fortunate families can share in that vision, and enjoy the spectacular views that have drawn visitors to this mountaintop retreat for generations. Perched on a flat plateau on one of the highest points in Highlands, Rainwater offers a spectacular mountaintop opportunity to seven select homeowners. To reach Rainwater, you'll drive up alongside Highlands Country Club, winding through lush native rhododendron and mountain laurel.
The centerpiece of the community is a private park adjoining all homesites.
The park features a round stone terrace with fire ring and adirondack chairs plus a stone observation tower. Surrounding the beautiful private park are seven estate-sized homesites each with its own incredible yet unique vantage point and amazing mountain views.
